About us

CENTER COLORS: BLACK, RED, WHITE

DOJO - "SEMPER FIDELIS, is a center focused on the teaching of martial arts and the propagation of oriental culture in general. We try to implement the Japanese and Oriental art and philosophy, in order to broaden the horizons of students and provide them with a new existential approach, which aims to enrich their lives while improving their quality. In the oriental culture, body hygiene is closely linked to spiritual matters, since according to their philosophy it is not possible to cultivate one without developing the other.

From the beginning, we have opted for the highest quality and that is why all the facilities of our academy were designed from start to finish for the practice of martial arts.

We have a room of 100m2 totally diaphanous, illuminated with natural light, which provides students with an exceptional quality of work. The equipment for training is top quality, for example, the punching bag that was custom made and personalized with the logo of our academy.

In the Orient, each tone has its own symbolism:

RED - is a powerful color in traditional Japanese society, representing strong emotions rather than ideas. As the color of the sun in Japanese culture and flag. Red is the color of vitality, warmth and energy. It also represents love and intimacy, life force and energy in people.

WHITE - has been an auspicious color in Japan for much of its history. It represents purity and cleanliness in traditional Japanese society and is seen as a blessed color. Due to the sacred nature of the color, white is the color of weddings as well as other joyful life events. White is one of the colors that appears on the Japanese flag.

BLACK - is a powerful and foreboding color in Japanese culture. Traditionally, black has represented death, destruction, fear and sadness. Especially when used alone, black represents mourning and is often worn at funerals. Black has traditionally been a color of formality and to a greater extent has come to represent elegance, with the increasing popularity of Western conceptions of black tie events.

Black and white represent two extremes, as do the belts and also the path of a student from the beginning to mastery, therefore these two shades symbolize the beginning and the end, united by the color red which personifies: strong emotions, vitality, energy and strength in the people who accompany everyone in this adventure of learning.

The colors red and white make up the Japanese flag.
